  Rio de Janeiro - Brazil
Workshop: Poverty and access to basic services

Side-event n°1 : Innovative field actions as leverage for change

The Veolia Institute's partners for this side-event workshop were Civicus, the global alliance of the civil society organizations and the European confederation of Relief and Development NGOs.

The staging of an official side-event was made possible by the official accreditation given to the Veolia Institute by the General assembly of the United Nations in May 2012.
In its capacity as a think-tank, the Institute is now recognized as a member of the “civil society” network of the United Nations Department of Economic and Social Affairs (UNDESA).
